Course Description

This 5-month course is Joel’s most requested offering, which delivers an advanced overview of how to start, scale and sustain a LinkedIn branding strategy for your company, including where to start, who your most engaged audience is, and how to position your voice as a thought leader.

This training course is intended for people with limited understanding of the LinkedIn platform or small-medium sized organizations that don’t have a robust marketing and PR team to rely on. Throughout the course, trainees will learn the foundational concepts to build a brand on LinkedIn, develop engaging storytelling and manage a content marketing strategy for their personal or company LinkedIn account.

 

Course Structure

Module 1: Thought Leadership Overview

Module 2: Content & SEO Growth

Instructional Objectives

  • Understanding the LinkedIn platform and algorithm

  • Benefits of developing a presence on the platform and how it can develop future leads, press attention and strategic partnerships

  • How to audit your personal LinkedIn profile’s SEO strength and company profile

  • Engagement with various content marketing tools on LinkedIn: copyrighting, tone, hashtags, content formats, time management, articles, video etc

  • Best practices for viewership, engagement and building relationships with industry leaders

 

Assessment Methods

The training is predominantly hands-on and conducted online through video instruction. Assessment methods of the training include:

  • Observational learning and Q&A through online sessions

  • Group zoom sessions with topics, screen-shares and two way dialogue

  • Learning PDFs and excel sheets for understanding concepts and models

  • Writing and storytelling assignments given throughout the lessons

Course Format

Hours: 15 hours

Duration: 5 months (15 1-hour sessions, 3 per )

Format: Zoom video conferencing

Cost: $4,000 (group cost for 2-6 trainees)

Course capacity: 6 trainees maximum

Note: to request more hours in your training package, please contact Joel below. Costs start at $200/hour for additional hours to be included. For best learning retention, we recommend a minimum of 3 hours per month. We’re also able to develop customized programs based on your team’s needs.
